Arnold pondered on his childhood growing up as an expat in the UAE and realized that despite coming from different cultures and growing up with different cuisine, the snacks everyone shared remained the same. These snacks uniquely bind us to this location and time period.

The Artist put out a survey via instagram and documented people’s responses of their favorite childhood snack. While there were many similarities, the most common ones were photographed with an instax camera and collaged with everyone’s responses.
